This form accepts text and public HTTPS links only. It does not accept files, identity documents or intimate attachments. Submission pauses follow-ups only when the case reference and reported URL match a delivered Content Protect notice.

What to include

The case reference and reported URL.
Whether you dispute ownership, authorisation, identification of the work, licence status, fair dealing or another issue.
Supporting public links or a description of evidence. Do not email intimate attachments.
A safe contact email and the country relevant to your dispute.

What happens next

We freeze automated follow-ups, preserve the counter-notice, notify the claimant and re-check authority, evidence, licences and jurisdiction. Contested legal assertions are escalated; Content Protect does not decide court claims. We may provide the substance of the dispute to the claimant and relevant recipient while minimising unnecessary personal information.

Abuse and urgent content

False counter-notices, threats and impersonation are prohibited. If the material involves a person under 18, do not send or upload it; report it to the Internet Watch Foundation. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

Privacy

Dispute records are handled under our Privacy Notice and may be retained for legal claims. You may exercise applicable data-protection rights independently of the dispute.
